“My experience as a UNV has helped me immensely with my personal and professional development. I believe I have become more aware of the rights of women, children, and vulnerable groups of society. Working for the Rohingya Response, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, has made me much more grounded and self-aware.” Samia Aboni, a UN Volunteer working in WASH at UNICEF Cox’s Bazaar Office, shares her experience with Volunteerism during the COVID-19 pandemic

“My definition of changing the world? To make a difference, leave a real, visible imprint in society, support children and prepare them for the future.I have served since 2018 as a Youth Advocate, and in 2019 as Programme Associate, in Beirut office. Then I moved to Tyre field office as a Programme Officer for the Palestinian programme. My main duty is to monitor and evaluate the implementation of the programme in the Palestinian camps in the south of the country”. Khaled A UN Volunteer.
