Scope of Work

Under the Supervision of the Chief, Data Management Serivces, the Senior Application Development Specialist will perform the following tasks:

1) Manage and support applications for MPTF Gateway

• Manage the project meeting with business counterparts

• Support the MPTF fund management application

• Support the MPTF project management application

• Manage the application interfaces between DW and Gateway frontends.

2) Develop business solutions using SharePoint Framework and Azure hosted SharePoint App

• Architecting solutions

• Develop applications using Microsoft best practices

• Deploy applications by leveraging CI/CD pipelines

• Preparing and presenting in-house trainings.

3) Monitoring events, managing vendors

• Monitoring and evaluating events, alerts, and notifications from SharePoint admin panel and other 3rd party tools

• Managing engagements and deliverables with our vendors.

Minimum Qualifications of the Successful IPSA

Min. Academic Education

Master’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering, or related discipline. Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of additional experience can be considered in lieu of Master`s.

Min. years of relevant Work experience

With Master’s degree 7 years of relevant work experience preferably in the areas of data management, computer science, DevOps, or related activities at national or international level.
With Bachelor’s degree 9 years of relevant work experience preferably in the areas of data management, computer science, DevOps, or related activities at national or international level.

Required skills and competencies

In-depth experience working in developing SharePoint Applications is required;
In-depth experience with programming languages such as C# is required;
In-depth experience with DevOps is required;
Experience in developing building integrations with REST APIs; experience in using PostMan for building REST API is required;
Capturing and documenting business and technical requirements is required;
Impact analysis and preparing high level design document is required;

Desired additional skills and competencies

Experience with Microsoft Azure Data platform is desired;
Experience with Quantum/Quantum+ datasets is desired;
Actively works towards continuing personal learning and development and application of newly acquired skills is desired;
UN work experience will be an asset
