Task description
We are looking for 2 online volunteers to test, update and maintain the UVS website and eCommerce platform, that serves as a platform to help local farmers supply organic produce using business analytics tools and provide a value chain for linking farmers to consumers and re-connect local communities within Vidarbha on post COVID-19 recovery.

1) Main website:
a) One volunteer will maintain and update the current webpage of UVS to realise the following tasks:
i. No apparent technical issues will show up
ii. The linkage between “Family Market Place” button and eCommerce platform should be established and tested
iii. Other new modules such as education equity, climate change etc. will be updated accordingly

2) eCommerce platform:
a) One volunteer will work on maintenance of WordPress, WooCommerce and Dokan.

Requirements
Required experience
Based on the task assigned, candidates should ideally have the following skills:

1) For main website maintenance:
a) Good knowledge of JavaScript development and NodeJS frameworks as well as HTML5 & CSS3.
2) For eCommerce platform update:
a) WordPress Administration and Optimization (Tuning)
b) Highly experienced with creating WordPress landing pages using Gutenberg Editor (WordPress Block Editor) as well as Elementor
c) Knowledge of WordPress plugin development with PHP and/or MySQL is a plus.
