Scope of Work:
Under the supervision of the GBViE Specialist, the consultant will be responsible for the following deliverables:
- Support trend analysis of GBViE CSI data and develop additional guidance based on CO needs.
- Develop a suite of resources to help “demystify” the GBV risk analysis component of SP indicator H5.5.
- Compile and synthesize key findings from the experience of UNICEF colleagues who participated in the recent online GBV risk mitigation pilot course targeting GBV specialists.
- Further advance GBV integration within UNICEF’s work on emergency preparedness.
- Compile inputs and draft one context-specific case study as part of UNICEF’s GBV risk mitigation institutionalization partnership with BHA.

Qualifications
Education:
- Masters degree/ Public health, social work, political science, human rights and international law or other related degree, or equivalent programming experience
Language Proficiency:
- Fluency in English required, working proficiency of another official UN language (French and/or Arabic) preferred.
Work experience:
- At least 5 years of humanitarian or related work experience in GBV programming in natural disasters and conflict-affected countries.
- Knowledge and experience in GBViE M&E and other elements of information management.
- Experience with humanitarian coordination structures (at global and/or field level) preferred.
