Scope of Work:
By 29 February 2024:
• A summary of interviews and/ or surveys with internal and external stakeholders, to identify and articulate UNGEI’s unique selling points, focusing on the “Why UNGEI, “Why Now,” and “How Much” aspects.
• Mapping of UNGEI’s knowledge assets and relationships.
• Desk review of relevant documents relevant to UNGEI’s partnerships and resource mobilization.
By 31 March 2024:
• Comprehensive overview of the most promising appetite, influence, and funding among possible un-stereotyping partners in the government, intergovernmental, private sector, and philanthropic entities.
• List of partners and change makers for UNGEI to target, making connections where appropriate.
By 30 April 2024:
• Up to 3 investment case documents, which can be used as a basis for conversations with current and future funding partners.
By 31 July 2024:
• A set of targeted funder and event messages regularly updated to align with the direction of travel of project.
• A summary of min. 8 conversations on strategy and direction with UNGEI leadership.
By 31 July 2024:
• A resource mobilization strategy and implementation plan aligned with the 2023-27 strategy.

Qualifications
Education:
- Masters degree/ Advanced university degree in Political Science, Social Studies, Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, Social Sciences, Development, Planning, Business Administration, Knowledge, communication, or a related field. Knowledge and experience in gender and/or education is a plus.
Work experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the development sector, with a focus on fundraising, resource mobilization or partnership building.
- Experience working in an international organization. Good knowledge of the UN system and the international donor landscape.
