The ceremonial and events assistant will be responsible for supporting the implementation of projects, ensuring quality and results, in close coordination with the CNJ and UNDP teams. To achieve this objective, the following indicative activities are planned:
- Assist in the execution of activities related to the ceremonial of Justice 4.0 Program events, especially those that will be carried out with partner courts, helping to ensure that actions are aligned with the schedules and objectives foreseen for each event, in collaboration with the Ceremonial Secretariat and CNJ events;
- Assist in the preparation and organization of documentation relating to agendas and events, such as traveler registrations, filling out forms, preparing spreadsheets, among other things;
- Assist in organizing meetings to align with the teams involved in the events;
- Assist in the guidance procedure for participants regarding the accountability procedure after the events, in collaboration with the UNDP Project Management Unit;
- Have wide availability for national and international travel, to monitor agendas and events on site , as well as assist in administrative and operational support for the implementation of projects;
- Perform other tasks as required by supervision.
Institutional Arrangement
The contractor will be supervised by the Project Manager and the Technical Project Coordinator.
The contracting modality is NPSA (National Personnel Services Agreement), which represents a UNDP instrument used internationally to standardize and facilitate the admission of specialized professionals, for a determined period. This modality ensures benefits such as health insurance, life insurance and vacations.
The vacancy will be filled according to the position obtained in the selection process.
- Expected start: immediate.
- Contract duration: 6 months (extendable period).
- There is no requirement for professional exclusivity during the contract period. However, the selected person will need to be available during business hours (9am to 6pm), 40 hours a week, to fully carry out the assigned activities and tasks.

- High School Diploma required;
- Academic degree in the areas of Administration, International Relations, Communication, Social Sciences, or related areas will be given due consideration, but is not a requirement.
- Up to 3 years (with Bachelor’s degree) or minimum of 3 years (with High School) of professional experience with ceremonial activities.
Required skills:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills;
- Ability to use information technology;
- Knowledge of the office package;
- Experience working with Public Authorities, especially in the area of Justice;
- Experience working with organizing official events;
- Experience working with ceremonial activities;
- Experience with organization, recording of information, production of reports and other documents for management;
- Fluency in Portuguese;
- Proficiency in English and/or Spanish will be considered an advantage
