The World Food Program (WFP) is the top humanitarian agency that provides food aid in dire situations and collaborates with locals to boost nutrition and resilience. JOB DESCRIPTION
- Aid processing and managing routine administrative and financial tasks in various functional areas, to contribute to the practical and timely management of resources.
- Conduct general administration tasks such as managing travel arrangements, processing staff travel claims and corresponding internally and externally for arrangement of meetings & conferences and contribute to the improvement of business procedures and processes.
- Accountable for provision of services such as facilities management and office utilities, reporting any differences to the supervisor for consistent and timely delivery of services, to ensure the provision of a safe and comfortable working environment for WFP staff.
- Run regular inventory check and keep the asset registry updated according to WFP rules and regulations.
- Manage the team of drivers and coordinate missions in the field.
- Take accountability for data integrity to facilitate availability of accurate information in corporate systems.
- Assure light vehicle management including compliance with security standard operating procedures.
- Support on managing system-related functions on procurement.
- Assist and process all Petty Cash transactions within the organization policies and procedures
- Supply guidance to staff on HR procedures and guidelines and support on any HR-related matters such as facilitating written tests and interviews held in the field office and briefing newly recruited staff.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Fulfillment of secondary school education. University degree in Business Administration or other related functional is alluring.
- Five years of progressively accountable experience in general administrative work with at least one (1) year of background working in facility management.
- Fluency in both oral and written transmission in Arabic and English languages. Fluency in French is added benefit.
- Understandingof specialised common business practices and methods, gained through relevant technical training and background.
- Capacity to develop and maintain relationships with a range of individuals in order to provide a high quality support service.
- Capability to carry out basic data analysis and independently rectify problems requiring attention.
- Ability to observe and record financial transactions.
- Adequate communication skills required to give and receive information and work with a variety of individuals.
- Command to keep confidentiality.
