JOB DESCRIPTION

•  Heeding MINUSMA Medical Dental care room in the clinics on a full time basis;
•  Managing and training all other staff operating in the Dental care room in the clinic (nurses and Medical Assist);
•  Guide and follow up dental cases to more increased specialists for complicated techniques when-ever needed .
• Supervise the tool sterilization room workflow
• Correct infection control plan and sustain high infection control standards in the dental care room and workflow
• Participate in the planning, control, and implementation of adequate infection control measures in the mission health facilities at all levels.
• Keeping medication and Dental medical supply stock through timely requests to the mission pharmacist.
• Delivering Dental prophylaxis care for all MINUSMA staff.
• Performing health education and sensitization on health topics related to dental care;
• Ensure functionality, cleanness, and availability of well running dental chair
• Appropriate functioning of dental-related medical equipment and instruments.
• Back daily medical consultations of MINUSMA staff (UN civilian, UNV, national and international contractors) in the UN level I clinic;
• Standing on call during and outside office hours to observe and treat emergencies in the medical clinic;
• Underpinning in maintaining the medical preparedness of the clinic to respond to emergency conditions;
