JOB DESCRIPTION
- Set for reproductive health needs of adolescent girls and women of reproductive age group
- Provide counseling and fitness education before and after screening
- Provide the full antenatal care packet including screening tests at the facility and during community outreaches
- Identifying high-risk gestations and organizing appropriate referrals
- Provide basic crisis obstetric and neonatal care, adolescent sexual and reproductive services including prevention and cure of HIV and other STIs
- Provide knowledge and linkage to elimination of mother to child transmission of HIV services
- Provide care during labor and puerperium with focus on prevention of infection and ensuring successful breastfeeding
- Participate in clinician ward bands and provide bedside nursing care for admitted mothers
- Provide post-natal care assistance for mother and baby including immunization, growth monitoring, support for breastfeeding and family planning

QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have registered midwifery diploma or equivalent
- Must be enlisted with the Nurses and Midwives council
- Appropriate work experience of two years is fundamental .
- Be able to work in a stressful stage and adapt fast to changing environments
- Extraordinary transmission and interpersonal skills.
