TASKS RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties for International Expert/Trainer at UN-WOMEN are:
- In consultation with UN Women and facilitators analyse the needs review survey to tailor the designed curriculum.
- Develop customized training sessions in English to improve the knowledge and skills of Afghan women students in the following areas:
- Gender Equality and women’s Empowerment
- Leadership expansion for women
- Effective transmission and negotiation skills
- Interpersonal and representation skills
- Cooperation and networking
- Public speaking
- Resume Writing and Interviewing Skills
- Ensure the interactive activities such as group conversations, debating, brainstorming, case studies, etc.) to increase women students’ arrangement with the training.
- Develop the training content: create presentations, handouts, visuals, and other appropriate training materials that will be used during the training.
- Provide feedback and help the women students throughout the training programme.
- Deliver training sessions during the five-day event in each country.
- Produce a detailed report on the efficacy of the training programme and suggestions for future work.

QUALIFICATIONS
The requirements for International Expert/Trainer at UN-WOMEN are:
- Minimum university degree in development studies, social studies, or gender studies or another appropriate field.
- Additional qualification/certificate in gender, women empowerment and diversity or connected areas is a clear advantage.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on background in conducting capacity-building activities in gender equality, human rights, gender mainstreaming, women’s economic empowerment and participation in leadership.
- Outstanding transmission and written skills in English are mandatory.
- Understanding of Russian is an asset.
