In order to promote nutrition initiatives, policies, and programs, such as school meals and food fortification, WFP collaborates with governments, other UN agencies, NGOs, and the corporate sector.

TASKS

The duties for Internship – Monitoring & Evaluation at WFP are:

  • Check the monthly activity reports from the team and converge them into a monthly situation report for the Field office.
  • Help the organization of workshops and trainings relating to M&E.
  • Organize reports on field missions, workshops, and training.
  • Sustain a process monitoring system and make sure that programmatic issues arising from activity reports, field reports, and reports from cooperating. partners are tracked and updated to the Field office management.
  • Provide graphical study of programme information and correlation of the statistical reports for decision-making.
  • Provide help to the Programme Associate in tracking the MMR targets of Field Monitors and flagging any concerns as soon as they arise.
  • Aid on the knowledge administration at Field office.
  • Any other responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

The requirements for Internship – Monitoring & Evaluation at WFP are:

  • Currently enlisted and have attended University courses in the last 12 months inclusive of having completed at least two years of graduate studies or have lately graduated in the last 6 months in Monitoring & Evaluation and Reporting, Statistics, Economics, or equivalent areas of studies.
  • Command in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).
  • Background in use of Power BI, Tableau, data analysis and visualization will be an added advantage.
  • Outstanding command of Portuguese is required.
  • Working knowledge of English would be an advanatge.
