JOB DESCRIPTION

The duties for Junior Programme Assistant at FAO are:

  •  Supply assistance in preparing small procurement actions for goods and services through market researches and quotations collection for the needs of the ENPARD Programme
  •  Correspond the provision of transportation requirements including staff and items movement for duty purposes; management of drivers and the car fleet of the FAO ENPARD Programme.
  •  Assure the request of UNDSS clearances, Mission ToRs, mission BTORs.
  •  Arrange the reception and transfer of procured items, including customs clearance, loading and unloading, verification of reception, etc.
  •  Deliver support to the FAO/ENPARD programme in the organisation of meetings, and ensure their secretariat (agenda, minutes)
  •  Deliver support in editing and proofreading documents (ToRs, letters, mission agendas, mission reports, etc.) and punctually translations from English to Georgian and Georgian to English, as needed.
  •  Keep the projects, records, repository and filing (ToRs, BTORs, final reports, PPTs, etc.)
  •  Conduct other related duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

The requirements for Junior Programme Assistant at FAO are:

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Agriculture or other connected field
  • 1 year of relevant background in administrative tasks
  •  Working knowledge (Level C) of English and Georgian languages
  •  National of Georgia
