JOB DESCRIPTION
The National Project Coordinator will be accountable for the overall administration of program activities, ensuring that an proper work plan and budget are developed and enforced. He/She will be responsible for the day-to-day administrative management and performance of the risk insurance/finance portfolio in the country, with the support of the program unit of the country office and on a specialized level, of the IRFF Regional Advisor for the duration of the program. The Coordinator (ice) will work near with national stakeholders and lead the planning and facilitation of workshops and events, liaise with the insurance industry working on IRFF industries at the national level.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree in Risk Management, Insurance or a related domain.
- First University degree (BA) in corresponding fields with additional 2 years of relevant experience will be given due consideration in lieu of a Masters’s.
- 2 years of professional background for Masters holders and 4 years of professional experience for BA holders preferably in the performance of projects related to insurance and risk financing, sustainable finance or financial inclusion.
- Prior experience in the insurance industry, risk transfer and insurance ecosystems
- Adequate experience and knowledge of risk financing issues in Africa and/or Comoros.
- Capability to develop and sustain strategic partnerships with government, donors, civil society, private sector;
