JOB DESCRIPTION
- Set substantive technical aid to the implementation and management of the humanitarian and disaster risk programme.
- Set technical assistance and capacity improvement to program partners.
- Set technical inputs to checking and reporting of programme/ project activities.
- Set substantive inputs to building partnerships and resource mobilization strategies.
- Set technical aid to inter-agency coordination on humanitarian action to systematically integrate gender and social inclusion.
- Set substantive inputs to advocacy, knowledge building and interaction efforts.

QUALIFICATIONS
- The required degree is Master’s degree in social sciences, human rights, gender/women’s studies, international improvement , or a relevant major.
- A first-level university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
- A project/programme management certification would be an added asset.
- At least 2 years of progressively responsible work experience in the areas of humanitarian, gender equality and women’s rights programming, project/programme implementation, collaboration, checking and evaluation and donor reporting and capacity building;
- Technical experience in inter-agency coordination, preferably in humanitarian action
- Experience in proposal drafting
- Proficiency in English demanded;
- Knowledge of the other UN official language is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Hausa will be an advantage.
