JOB DESCRIPTION
- Analyse monitoring information of food quantities and receipts and verify with logistics data.
- Analyse monthly, overall digit and status of persons receiving food and non-food assistance.
- in managing data entry in COMET system (Country Office Tool for Managing (programme operations) Actually , WFP’s corporate Programme database.
- Supply technical support in managing daily updates of beneficiary figures for emergency responses/operation scale-up.
- Liaise with domain offices and Operational Information Management (OIM) team to manage beneficiary figures and validate data.
- Run rigorous data quality checks on data collected and liaise with other units to resolve any issues or obtain additional information required.
- Support monthly reporting of beneficiary figures to the Regional Bureau.
- Correspond and communicate with local partners and other agencies as required.
- Deliver technical support to updating distribution plans and monitoring status reports of sub-offices.
- Prepare monitoring reports as required (periodic reports, statistical information, and tables.
- Pinpoint potential problems and act as a point of contact for resolution of a range of operational queries.
- Show as a focal point to manage track process monitoring coverage; liaise with field offices regularly to ensure monthly monitoring plans are updated and followed up to ensure adequate field monitoring coverage of WFP project sites.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Realization of secondary school education with post-secondary school Certificate/ Diploma in Statistics, Economics, International Affairs, Nutrition/Health, Agriculture, Environmental Science or Social Sciences.
- At least six years of progressively accountable experience, of which at two years closely related to working at field level in coordination with specialized units in managing food and cash distributions and at least one year closely related to M&E. At least one year at the G5 level or equivalent.
- Acquaintance with relief and development work with strong analytical skills. Proficient with word processing, spreadsheets and other standard software packages, and systems related to data and information management.
- Good working understanding of Microsoft Office especially Excel. Experience using statistical analytical software (such as SPSS, STATA, SAS, etc) and WFP’s Information System (WINGS) or SAP an advantage.Languages: Fluency in written and oral transmission skills in both English and Myanmar.
