ABOUT ORGANIZATION
The World Food Program (WFP) is the top humanitarian agency that provides food aid in dire situations and collaborates with locals to boost nutrition and resilience. The United Nations created it in 1961 to aid in reducing global hunger. 80 nations are home to WFP offices, which have its main headquarters in Rome. The biggest humanitarian organization in the world, it is also the main supplier of school meals. In order to promote nutrition initiatives, policies, and programs, such as school meals and food fortification, WFP collaborates with governments, other UN agencies, NGOs, and the corporate sector.
JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Mount service delivery
2. Broadcast strategic decisions of the FSC and Subnational ICCG (Inter Cluster Coordination Group)
3. Correspond , Plan, and implement FSC strategies, including contingency planning and preparedness
4. Donate to the Monitoring and Evaluation of the FSC performance
5. Make national and FSC members capacity in preparedness and contingency planning
6. Donate to advocacy
7. Donate to accountability to affected people

QUALIFICATIONS
- Realization of secondary school education. A post-secondary certificate in food security, agriculture, economics, humanitarian affairs or related field.
- Background : Minimum 6 years of professional experience in humanitarian response at a mid or senior level. Background in food security-related topics is mandatory and experience in the FSC is desirable. Previous experience and legal training in Sector/Cluster Coordination preferred.
- language: Fluency in both oral and written transmission in English and Myanmar and local dialect at the duty station will be an added benefit.
