JOB DESCRIPTION
- Line administration for project team
- Compliance to NRC policies, guidance, and methods
- Donate to the growth of Country, Area and Core Competency strategies, initiate and participate in the growth of relevant project proposals
- Blend and work project implementation, including workplans, budget and other project documentation in line with proposals, procedures and donor requirements
- Execute technical direction and ensure high technical quality of projects
- Deliver regular progress information to the Area Manager and the CC Specialists
- Confirm that assignments target heirs most in need of protection, explore and asses new and better ways to assist
- Set and handle project budget (in cooperation with AM and CC Specialists) and coordinate across CCs

QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 3 years of background in a senior-level project implementation/Management position in a humanitarian/recovery context
- Background from working in complicated and volatile contexts
- Specialized expertise from security , legal programs, education and/or food security and livelihood
- Demonstrated derivatives related to the position’s responsibilities
- Understanding about own leadership skills/profile
- Fluency in English, both written and oral
- Robust knowledge of the humanitarian context in Uganda in widespread , and the refugee response in Kampala and Southwest Uganda
- University Degree (Bachelor’s) in Project Planning and Management, Social Work and Social Administration, Adult and Community Education, Development Studies, or a connected field. Post-graduate or Masters Qualification will be added to Gift.
