TASKS
The duties for SRHR OFFICER at WHO Sierra leone are :
- Coordination
- Support coordination platform for SRHR at national
- Install and strengthen coordination platform for SRHR in every district
- Help the dissemination of SRHR guidelines and policy documents to stakeholders
- Backing capacity building on SRHR
- Sustain capacity-building training workshop for District Health Management Teams (DHMT) on SRHR (Self-care, PAC, PAC, FP, MPDSR etc.)
- Back the Piloting of self-care intervention for Family Planning in Western Area Urban and Rural (SAYANA PRESS)
- Help districts to conduct integrated supportive supervision of SRHR facilities (COVID-19 measures adherence, EHS and SRHR)
- SRHR Advocacy and Policy Dialogue
- Develop policy brief in talk with partners and stakeholders
- Support the popularization of a self-care intervention to appropriate stakeholders
- Fund Quarterly Performance Review Meeting
- Back the annual SRHR summit
- Monitoring, evaluation and Research (including Health Information System for SRHR).
- Partaking in growth and formulation of appropriate national and district level indicators for tracking progress in the performance of planned activities.
- Work with MoHS and other stakeholders to assure effective monitoring and evaluation of SRHR activities;
- Assure monitoring & evaluation of project activities, including compiling and analyzing documents and preparing regular reports of results achieved against plans.

QUALIFICATIONS
The requirements for SRHR OFFICER at WHO Sierra leone are :
- First University Degree in Public Health or a connected field such as Community Health, Social Sciences
- A clinical experience. Formal training and/or experience in Sexual and Reproductive Health
- At least 5 years of background developing/designing and implementing public health programmes at national and/or decentralized level
- Prior experience working on SRHR interventions
- Background working with the MoHS at national or decentralized levels, WHO or other UN entities, Health NGOs or CSOs
- Outstanding facilitation skills with counterparts and partners
- Training and capacity building of stakeholders
- Report writing skills
- Outstanding knowledge of spoken and written English.
