The HR Analyst is accountable for the efficient provision of HR services, administration of the CO HR Unit, and transparent execution of HR initiatives in COs under the direction and supervision of the Team Leader HR Unit. He or she sets internal procedures, analyzes, interprets, and implements HR policies, laws, and regulations, and offers answers to a wide range of intricate HR problems. The HR Analyst supports a team-based, customer-focused approach and helps to keep worker morale high.
The HR Analyst works closely with the operations, program, and project teams in the CO and UNDP HQs personnel to ensure effective CO performance in HR management. The HR Analyst is a member of the HR Unit team who fills in for the HR Team Leader.

Education:
- a master’s degree in human resources, business administration, public administration, or a closely related discipline, or its equivalent;
- In place of a master’s degree, a bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, public administration, or a comparable discipline with two years of relevant experience MAY BE taken into consideration.
Experience:
- a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience at the national or international level in managing personnel and operational systems and delivering HR advice services;
- possessing proficiency with computers, office suites including Microsoft Word, Excel, etc., and web-based management tools;
- shown conceptual analytical and evaluative abilities, including the capacity to carry out independent research and analysis, recognize problems, formulate solutions, and reach judgments and management suggestions;
Languages:
- It’s necessary to speak and write English well. Arabic language proficiency is useful.
