The 2025 Te Herenga Waka-Victoria University of Wellington Hardship Fund Equity Grants are available for master’s and doctoral degrees in the university’s subject areas. Eligibility:
- Applications are open to all enroll students at Te Herenga Waka, also known as Victoria University of Wellington, regardless of their status as international, full-time, part-time, undergraduate, or graduate students.
- In the trimester for which they are applying, applicants must be enrolled. Stated differently, applicants for round 1 must be enrolled in the first trimester of the same year.
Selection Standards:
- When allocating the funding, both financial need and strong academic commitment and growth will be taken into account.
- Costly classes, significant transportation expenses, health conditions or disabilities that prevent part-time employment, providing for family, and any other relevant circumstances are all taken into consideration when assessing financial necessity.
- Other factors that are taken into account when assessing a student’s financial requirement include the quantity of money in their bank account and their weekly budget.
