Scholarship for Amsterdam Merit (AMS) 2024–2025
Masters degrees in business and economics are eligible for the Amsterdam Merit Scholarship (AMS) 2024–2025. Applying for this scholarship is possible here. Your application must be submitted by November 1st, 2025. The University of Amsterdam is offering this scholarship, which is worth full funding, tuition costs, and a stipend of EUR 5,000. Non-EU nationals are eligible to apply for this scholarship. For master’s degrees, the University of Amsterdam offers a limited amount of scholarships to highly talented non-EU applicants. With the scholarships, we hope to assist worthy students with their assignments and projects. Our objective is to attract the brightest students from all over the world to our international classrooms. The Amsterdam Merit Scholarship is open to international students.

Eligibility Criteria of Scholarship for Amsterdam Merit:
This scholarship requires the following qualification:
- The candidate must not be a citizen of the EU.
- Excellent academic performance in the top percentile is required of the applicant.
- The candidate cannot be the recipient of a Dutch study loan or grant.
- A full scholarship cannot be awarded to the candidate for the same time as the AMS grant.
- Before January 15th, the candidate must submit a completed application to one of UvA Economics and Business’s Master’s programs.
