The University of Melbourne 2025 is offering Graduate Research Scholarships for Masters and PhD degrees in any of the university’s courses. Your application must be submitted before November 10, 2025. The value of this scholarship, which is offered by the University of Melbourne, includes full funding, tuition, living expenses, and other benefits. All nationals are eligible to apply for this scholarship. High-achieving domestic and international students pursuing graduate research degrees at the University of Melbourne are eligible to apply for the Melbourne Research Scholarship and Research Training Program (RTP) Scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria of Scholarships for Graduate Research:
This scholarship requires the following qualification:
- Candidates must have applied to the University of Melbourne and fulfilled the prerequisites for a graduate research degree, or
- Candidates must be enrolled in the University of Melbourne’s graduate research program at this time.
Benefits of Scholarships for Graduate Research:
- Students pursuing a master’s degree by research can receive full cost reimbursement for up to two years, while students pursuing a doctorate can receive full fee reimbursement for up to four years.
- For up to two years for students pursuing a Master by Research degree or up to 3.5 years for students pursuing a PhD, a living allowance of $38,500 per year pro rata (2025 full-time study rate) is provided. The living allowance includes limited paid parental, maternity, and sick leave and may be adjusted annually.
- For students relocating from states or territories other than Victoria, the relocation award is $2000; for students relocating from outside Australia, it is $3000.
- International students who need a student visa in order to study in Australia can enroll in the Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) Single Membership program.
