Eligibility Criteria of Scholarships from the Forrest Research Foundation:
This scholarship requires the following qualification:
- Applicants must have applied for PhD enrolment as an internal student based at a Western Australian campus of one of the five specified Western Australian universities.
- Applicant must have a bachelor’s degree of First Class Honours standard or equivalent.
- Applicants must have a minimum of 3.95 GPA in their undergraduate and/or graduate degrees.
- The applicant’s proposed doctoral research should be innovative and exciting.
- Applicant must be intending to reside at Forrest Hall.
- Applicant must be eligible to enroll full-time at a Western Australian university by the date of commencement of the scholarship.
Benefits of Scholarships from the Forrest Research Foundation
This scholarship provides the following benefits:
- A stipend for a research training program that ranges from $34,315 to $37,500 annually.
- Allowance for lodging up to AUD 25,116.
- Up to AUD 12,000 for relocation and research travel expenses.
- An Australian Government International Research Training Program (RTP) Fees Offset Scholarship or an equivalent university international fee scholarship, which covers all international tuition costs and abroad student health insurance, will also be awarded to international Forrest Scholars.
- An Australian Government Domestic Research Training Program (RTP) Fees Offset grant will be awarded to Domestic Forrest Scholars, exempting them from paying tuition for the term of the grant.
