The 2024 DAAD Scholarship for Development-Related Postgraduate Courses (EPOS):

All university-offered master’s and doctoral degrees are eligible for the 2024 DAAD-Development-Related Postgraduate Courses (EPOS) Scholarship. Applying for this scholarship is possible here. Your application must be submitted before February 10th, 2025. The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) is offering this scholarship, which has a partial funding value of up to EUR 1,300 per month with additional benefits. This scholarship is available to: Candidates from underdeveloped nations only.

Benefits

The chosen candidates will get:

  • Graduates receive 934 euros per month, while doctorate candidates receive 1,300 euros.

Eligibility:

  • Candidates from developing nations are eligible to apply for the scholarship.
  • Graduates must have worked in the relevant field for at least two years.
  • Applicants must be eligible recent graduates of a university.
  • Candidates ought to have finished their doctoral or master’s degree.
  • The grant is given to a German university to help with the preparation and completion of a doctoral degree.

Criteria for selection:

  • Representatives from both nations, who meet once a year, will administer the scholarships.
  • The primary criterion for choosing a candidate is their academic performance.
  • Additionally, the candidate must submit a well-thought-out and persuasive research study.
