Victoria University of Wellington’s Izard Scholarship for 2025–2026
The Victoria University of Wellington 2025–2026 Izard Scholarship is available to master’s degree candidates in the following fields: architecture, business and government, design, education, engineering, health, law, music, technology, and science. You have until October 31, 2025, to submit your application. This scholarship, which has a partial funding value of NZD 2,000, is offered by Victoria University of Wellington. This scholarship is available to all citizens of the country. Established in 1997 by the estate of Arnold Woodford Izard, this fellowship provides financial assistance to students pursuing a Master’s degree with a thesis in any faculty at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington, with the exception of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (students from NZSM are eligible). Only academic merit is used to determine its award.

Eligibility Criteria of Izard Scholarship:
This scholarship requires the following qualification:
Candidates must be enrolled (during the year of tenure) in a Master’s degree by thesis in any faculty at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington, with the exception of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (NZSM students may still apply).
Selection Standards:
For this scholarship, only academic merit will be taken into account.

A full online application must be submitted by 430 p.m. on the closing date. We will not accept applications that are incomplete or submitted after the deadline. All required supporting documentation, including references, must be submitted by 4.30 pm on the closing date in order for the application to be considered.
