Job Description:

ARM Consulting is looking for a qualified Afghan national with a proven record of conducting procurement and financial assessments. The Procurement/Finance Specialist, with a team of M&E experts, assesses the disbursement of national organizations in line with the approved SOPs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

– Conduct financial assessments;

– Conduct procurement assessments;

– Investigate fraud and corruption and present recommendations for addressing the organizational weaknesses;

– Plan and execute comprehensive audits of financial statements, operational processes, and internal controls to assess their effectiveness and identify potential risks.

– Gather relevant documentation to gain a deep understanding of the organization’s processes, systems, and policies.

– Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements to mitigate risks and enhance operational efficiency.

– Perform data analysis and interpret financial information to identify anomalies, trends, and areas requiring further investigation.

– Prepare detailed audit reports outlining findings, recommendations, and corrective actions to be taken.

– Any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements:

1. Minimum five years working experience in a similar role;

2. Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance (MBA Finance), or a related field.;

3. Professional certifications such as ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) or CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) are highly desirable;

4. Fluency in the English language and local languages;

5. Ability to write high-quality reports.
