Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
  • Clean desks and office equipment on the premises.
  • Wash dishes in kitchens and help cook/s as needed
  • Set up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables, chairs, ladders, and scaffolding to prepare facilities for events such as banquet and meetings.
  • Clean staff toilets, hand basins and vacuum carpets
  • Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges.
  • Have initiative and bring positive changes in his/her daily tasks
  • Clean the dining hall and help the cooks during the day
  • Support cook at least for 3 hours in day.
  • Undertake any other duties as may be required or assigned by supervisor

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Education & Professional Qualification

Essential

  • Basic Education
  • Able to work overtime on weekends or holidays if required.
  • At least 1-2 years cleaning with international NGOs, or any national organization

Desirable

High school graduated

English language skills

  • Ability to deal with difficult, often challenging work situations
  • Ability to work with other team members and be able to take direction from Supervisor(s).
  • Sensitivity to gender issues
  • Personal integrity, sense of humor, initiative and self-motivation

  • Must be honest, well mannered, and neat in appearance
