About Afghanistan Rehabilitation & Development Program:

Afghanistan Rehabilitation and Development Program (ARDP) is an Afghan non-governmental, non-political and non-profit humanitarian organization dedicated to fostering positive social and economic changes in Afghanistan. established in 2005 and registered with the Government of Afghanistan, under the supervision of the Ministry of Economy (MoEc) with a mission to contributes in developing and self-sustaining Afghan society through engagement in Health, Education and Agriculture.

Since 2005, ARDP has been actively involved in implementing over 80 projects, collaborating with reputable organizations and foreign donor agencies.

ARDP has formed strategic partnership with esteemed organizations such as UNHCR, UNDP, FAO, UNOCHA, NAC, WHO, UNDCP, Canada Help for Afghanistan, CRCA, Relief International, ECHOHEMAL, Habitat, UNICEF, IMC, Gorraff Austria, and other foreign donor agencies.

Job Description:

1.   Ensure that all activities are implemented according to the activity plan and in line with the project objectives.

2.   Facilitate workshops, meetings and any other programs according to the need of project.

3.   participate and support the development of the M&E tools for project on different levels.

4.   Undertake regular monitoring of project activities to ensure that the quality and quantity of the program activities being carried according to Project.

5.   Prepare and implement monthly monitoring and evaluation plans for the program.

6.   Advise, and if necessary, train, the field staff on the monitoring and evaluation procedures.

7.   Complete and submit regular reports on the monitoring and evaluation findings in the field to Executive Director, which includes reporting of field visits.

8.   provide technical assistance to field teams during implementation of activities.

9.   Monitor field teams related to training activities and assess and report on progress to supervisor.

10.   Ensure that the Monitoring tools are based on the project indicators and measuring the project objectives.

11.   Monitoring and evaluation of the project activities and ensure monitoring and evaluation systems and quality controls are in place. (Provide proper feedback to the team based on the finding).

12.   Communicate closely with the field staff of the project for better reporting of the project.

13.   Ensure timely and appropriate reporting on project activities to Executive Director.

14.   Prepare the M&E Framework and Tools and Track down the project activities.

15.   Conduct any other activity assigned by the top management.

16.   Keep records of any visits, phone calls or emails received from other project staff and community workers requesting support.

17.   Attend at all meetings arranged by the field staff.

18.   Any other relevant tasks given by Executive Director.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Monitoring and Evaluation, engineering, , Evaluation Research, Literature, Science, Statistics, or a related field;
  • Minimum of 4 years of designing, monitoring and evaluating program in the non-profit sector;
  • Experience in working construction in education sector activities will be an advantage;
  • Proficiency in Results Based Reporting, Theory of Change and other relevant monitoring and evaluation methods;
  • Experience in planning and managing surveys & developing and refining data collection tools;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English are required;
  • Strong writing, reporting, and presentational skills; and
  • Proficiency in Microsoft as well as other database and statistical and software application.
