Agency for Assistance and Development of Afghanistan (AADA) is an Afghan non-profit non-governmental organization working for the development of Afghanistan mainly through (1) provision of quality health services; (2) community development; (3) training and capacity building at professional and community levels; and (4) research in topics of public health and social sciences besides various projects in different parts of Afghanistan.

Job Description:

Maternal care before, after and during pregnancy and management of pregnancy and postpartum complications according to IMPAC policies.

Taking care of the new born child as well as providing advice and services to mothers on family planning.

Providing individual and group health education, paying more attention to pregnancy health topics.

Distribution of delivery kits to women who are visibly pregnant and may not have access to a clinic for delivery.

Referral of pregnancy complications to the relevant hospital.

Provide and submit accurate data of project activities as per project requirements.

Establish a friendly working relationship with the BPHS project coordinator

Perform other duties assigned by direct supervisor

Job Requirements:

Must be a graduate of a formal midwifery institute or CME.

Having two years of work experience in BPHS health facilities.

Have experience training skills.

Possess strong interpersonal skills.

Fluent speaking and writing in regional languages ​​and working knowledge of English

Ability to work with others in difficult and conflictual situations
