- Needs experience and skills in working with leaders and influencers in the community
- Patient, persuasive and have the confidence and experience needed to be taken seriouslyby leaders
- Needs to understand community dynamics and how power flows through the community and need to be willing to let the SASA! Together community leaders be in the spotlight
- Deep knowledge on Violence against women (VAW) and Intimate Partner Violence (IPV)
- Knowledge on basic Gender issues
Skills:
- Leadership skills and supervisory experience, including the ability to develop team performance
- Fluency in English Speaking and Writing
- Communication & Coordination Skills
- Interpersonal Skills: Empathetic and Assertive, Problem-Solving Skills, Familiarity with principles of monitoring & evaluation

Responsibilities & Context
This role will be responsible for implementing context-sensitive strategies, mainly SASA! Together four phases in camp level. In addition, provide direct input on program development in all relevant projects, including GBV prevention, risk mitigation, empowerment of women, capacity building and coordination related activities.
- Conduct training and work within formal structure. (CIC, RRRC, MOWCA, Health Sector, APBN)
- Communicate skillfully with institutional allies in every aspect of program needs
- Assist in Translation and contextualization of any Modules, Newsletter, Brochures, Case Stories etc.
- Prepare Weekly, Monthly narrative and quantitative reports
- Receive trainings and utilize that knowledge and skill to build up activists, leaders, Project Officers and Allies capacity to achieve SASA! Together agenda
- Provide direct support to Community Activist and Community Leaders and establish rapport with them visiting through camps and blocks
- Lead technical assistance to the SASA! Together program in the areas of institutional strengthening development
- Provide assistance in data collection, input in KoBo tool, conduct FGD, Community Assessment survey and community consultation in camps
- Support institutional strengthening activities of SASA! Together in different institutions
- Supervise activities of the Project Officers in the camps
- Develop and implement trainings, workshops for institutional strengthening for GBV prevention and risk mitigation
- Support Learning & Assessment (L&A) officer in tracking the programme quality and making reports
- Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme’s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
- Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
- Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so
