Job Description:
o Responsible for overall health facility basic cleaning and waste management tasks in
line with HF cleaning schedules and HCWM (health care waste management) procedures and disposal guidelines .
o On daily basis, collect, sort and dispose of health facility garbage and medical/ hazardous waste in target locations (incinerator) utilizing/using personal protective equipment and recommended disposal methods within the health facility.
o Take care of and replenish
routine health facility supplies such as soap, hand sanitizers, paper towels, toilet paper, washing and cleaning materials/disposables.
o Maintain and prepare consumables within the health facility such as soap, hand sanitizer, hand towels, toilet paper and other consumables and
o Clean dust and surfaces of all health facility rooms (OPD), waiting areas, washrooms, meeting room, delivery room, stock/pharmacy by daily wiping, mopping and washing.
o Maintain all health facilities, cleaning equipment and materials in a safe and sanitary manner and properly functioning.
o To be aware of and fully understand health facility general cleaning and health care waste management related procedures and policies/instructions and adhering to/comply with when carrying out daily assigned tasks and activities.
o To be aware of and fully understand work procedures and policies related to cleaning and waste management and to adhere to them during the performance of daily duties and work in the clinic.
o To be aware of and fully understand the organization polices & procedures and health facility management & administration rules & regulation; always adhering to it when carrying out duties.

o Responsible to make sure that proper infection prevention, personal hygiene, health facility waste management prevention/control measures and safe environment protocols/recommendations are in place.
