Job Description:
- Better and greater focus on teaching professional knowledge to all group members, ensuring that the skills taught are learned, and monitoring how the knowledge and skills learned are implemented in practice so that all group members become self-sufficient and able to produce all types of women’s and children’s clothing models.
Strengthening internal communication between group members and external organizations (markets), guiding and supporting group members to better sell their products in the market and agreeing with the customer about the type of fabric and model of clothing or mattress cover model.
Improving the skills of group members in the clothing production sector in a practical and theoretical way and marketing the products produced.
Attendance on official days (5 days a week).
Providing technical advice to group members for a minimum period of three months (after the contract ends).
Providing weekly work reports on the activities of the clothing production center.
- Key relations
Regional supervisors, project partners and beneficiaries.
- Duty Locations
Zinda Jan, Injil and Guzara districts of Herat province.
- Key Results Expected
- Agreement with the customer about the type of fabric and model of clothing or curtains and mattresses
- Taking customer measurements
- Determining the delivery time of the clothes and the appropriate cost for the customer
- Creating a design (according to existing models or creating new designs), preparing a pattern or sample, cutting fabric and initial sewing.
- Creating an initial profile
- Final sewing of customer order
- Understanding the types of fabrics and their characteristics
- Excellent sewing or tailoring skills
- A strong interest in design, sewing, and fashion, and awareness of the latest trends.
- Paying attention to customer interests and tendencies
- Creativity and the ability to visualize designs
- Good communication skills with customers
- Ability to maintain concentration during long work hours
- Having discipline and time management to deliver orders on time
- Having physical health
- Ability to teach and train group members in both theoretical and practical ways.
- Familiarity with sewing center equipment and familiarity with it in order to provide awareness to group members.

Job Requirements:
Competence
- Establishing strong coordination between the office clothing production center and business partners, precise planning
Core Competencies:
- A trainer is expected to have good communication and understanding skills, creativity and entrepreneurship skills, internal communication capacity, and problem-solving skills.
Skills and Experience:
- At least 2 years of work experience related to the production and sewing of all types of women’s and children’s clothing.
- Proficiency with computer programs is an advantage.
Education:
- Graduated from twelfth grade.
Work Experience:
- At least 2 years of work experience in the relevant field.
Languages Skills:
Dari, Pashto.
