Job Description:
Summary of Key Functions:
1. Screen and organize entries and exits doors and movements of people inside and outside during the
day and night.
Monitoring and maintaining the movement of people in and out of the entry and exit gates at night and day.
2. Check the identity of visitors and inform Ops room of their arrival.
Check the identity of the visitor and make sure to notify the operational department before the visitor enters.

of need inside CAFG facilities.
Cooperating with foreign colleagues within the scope of care when necessary.
6. Report to Operations & Resilience officer or Ops room immediately in case of any disruptions or problems.

7. Report to Ops room or Operations & Resilience officer / manager immediately any major event.
On-site reporting to the operational department and officer or general manager during major events.
Key relations:
Watchmen under the supervision of assigned supervisors play an extremely vital role in ensuring the safety and security of CARE staff members, assets, and properties. Watchmen are the primary responsible person to respond to any type of emergency and threats against CARE facilities at any time. Watchmen are responsible to prevent any unauthorized substances including weapons, explosives, and drugs to CARE facilities. Watchmen will be the primary persons who provide reports of any suspicious activity in and around CARE facilities. Watchmen are also the primary persons who alert staff members of any threats against CARE facilities.
Under the supervision of the designated supervisor, the security guards
are responsible for the important and vital role of providing the security and safety of the employees, assets and facilities of the office. The security guards are the first responsible and responsive persons in front of any urgent situations and threats against the office facilities
at any time. The security guards are responsible for preventing and preventing any unauthorized objects such as weapons, explosives, and drugs in
the KIR office facilities. Security guards are the first persons responsible for providing suspicious reports from inside and around the office
. And they are also the first people to inform the members and employees of the office about any threats and dangers.

Key Results Expected
1. Main responsibility of a security watchman is to maintain the safety & security of CARE national / international staff and visitors within CARE main office guest house, clients inside CAFG facilities or warehouse, and CAFG properties.
The basic responsibility of a security guard is to provide security and safety for all employees of the key office, customers inside the key area, guests, guest houses
, warehouses, offices and assets of the key office.
2. Check doors and windows of the buildings after official hours/off days, to ensure they are properly locked, note any unlocked doors/windows; submits the note to the assigned supervisor.
Controlling the gates and windows of the offices during the night and non-official hours so that they are properly locked, if
they are not locked, note it down and inform your superiors.
3. Make sure all electrical appliances and machinery in assigned CARE offices and premises are off and shutdown after the official time. Guards must make sure
that all electrical devices and machines in offices and other designated areas are turned off during non-official hours and at night . 4. Conduct professional vehicle searching in precise manner in order to make sure that CARE and none CARE vehicles are cleared and safe from weapons, explosive devices and any other harmful substances. Effortful implementation of Pamleran’s office transport vehicles and external vehicles in a precise and professional manner and ensuring the absence of weapons, explosives and other suspicious and dangerous objects inside the vehicles. 5. Maintain and update the register books of vehicles and visitors in CARE offices, staff houses, warehouses, and entrance and exit gates. Daily maintenance of registers and registers of transport vehicles, visitors to care offices, guest houses, warehouses and other registers and registers should be located at the entry and exit gates. . 6. Search the visitors politely and register them indiscriminately before entering the CARE facilities. Assist visitors who need direction or information. An effort is made to check all visitors properly and politely before entering the office. Helping and guiding visitors if they need help and guidance. 7. Make proper registration of staff coming to the office on weekends and other off-days and submit their pre-approved permission letter to the designated ORO. Registration and re-registration of many employees come to Kiir offices in informal hours to advance the affairs. Submit their request form to your respective commander. 8. Perform and execute all required orders, directions, guidance, and requirements of Standard Operating Procedures and General Orders to a standard that meets expectations. Carrying out and implementing all the orders, instructions, instructions, requirements and expectations contained in the daily procedure and common practice. Page 3 of 6 9. Make sure to provide immediate reports of any suspicious activities, hostile actions, perceived surveillance, unauthorized photography and etc.
The watchman must immediately report all suspicious activities, hostile actions, visual observations and unauthorized photography to his direct superiors.
10. In the absence of direct Supervisor and Security Point Person make sure to contact the relevant security/fire/ambulance departments when emergency occurs, force entrance is taken place and CARE facilities are attacked.
In the event of an attack on the offices of Kiir or any emergency situation for the office in the absence of the immediate supervisor
or the security officer of the office, the watchman must contact the fire and ambulance security officials and inform them of the matter
.
11. During emergencies (Fire, Earthquake etc.) make sure adequate response is in place to minimize the potential impacts and losses.
Ensuring adequate measures to reduce casualties in emergency situations (fire, earthquake, etc.)
12. Operate office generator, ensure that staff members are informed in a timely basis, when generator is switched off, and ensure that office water tank is full at all times.
The generator service of the office is guarded, be sure to notify all employees if the generator is turned off
, and make sure that the water reservoir always has enough water.
13. Make sure all none-CARE staff including visitors, labors and CARE’s provincial staff members who have no CARE
ID card should receive visitor’s ID prior to gain entrance to any of CARE
facilities.
Those who do not have an ID card
must be registered before entering the Kiir office and receive a special card for visitors.
14. Make sure that no one can expel assets from CARE facilities without authorized gate pass.
The security guard must ensure that the objects and goods of the office
are not transferred outside the office in the absence of an official and valid permit.
15. If there is a need to help the loading and unloading office items, watchmen should give hand and vacate the Sally port at the soonest possible time.
If there is a need to cooperate in the loading and unloading of goods, the guard must cooperate in this area so that
the entrance area is cleared as soon as possible.

16. Patrol the assigned areas on foot and take action to investigate, report, prevent, or stop; suspicious activities, hostile actions, fires, theft or safety hazards.

17. Use appropriate communication when there is need and check the available communication equipment’s on regular bases to make sure communication equipment’s are functional.
Proper use of communication devices if necessary and timely control of communication devices in hand and
making sure that these devices are active.
18. Make proper registration of AV km, date and time also driver’s name while going and coming inside during the weekends and other off-days.
Record and register the correct kilometers – date – time and the name of the driver of the armored vehicle when going out on unofficial days or
at the end of the week.
19. Checking out (road) when the AV gets out or comes inside the office.
Check right from (Sark) when the armored vehicle is taken out of the office.
20. Professional practice to lock and unlock the gate while the soft vehicles and AV arrive.
Professional training to close and open the entrance gate when vehicles arrive.
21. Maintain the organization’s stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements
22. Ensure operation of security equipment and surveillance cameras by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques
23. Ensure the security, safety, and well-being of all personnel, visitors, and the premises
24. Remain in compliance with local, state, and county regulations
25. Protect CARE’s assets relative to theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues
26. Follow procedures for various initiatives, including fire prevention, patrolling premises regularly, and COVID-19.
27. Report suspicious activity, criminal behavior, and security breaches.
12. Any other tasks assigned by the Supervisor.
