- Candidates must have at least 3 years of work experience as a Loan Officer or at least 1 year of work experience as an Assistant Branch Manager in savings and loan collection activities in any microfinance institution certified by the Microcredit Regulatory Authority (MRA).
- Age will be relaxable for experienced candidates.
- Candidates will need to collect and submit certificates from two referees.
- Candidates will be required to submit an undertaking from their legal guardian as per the requirements of the organization.
- Preference will be given to those who have received any type of training on microfinance programs.

- Candidates must have the mindset to work in any area of Bangladesh.
- Must have a valid driving license to drive a motorcycle and priority will be given to those with a motorcycle.
Responsibilities & Context
CSS is a public welfare voluntary organization. It has been conducting various developmental activities in remote areas of Bangladesh since 1972. The organization’s MRA certificate number: 02578-01977-00129. The Assistant Branch Managers will be engaged in the work of recruiting members through field surveys of the organization, forming teams, distributing loans, collecting loan installments and savings on time, and performing the duties of the Branch Manager in his absence.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct loan activities by properly verifying and selecting membership status and loan status according to the branch’s goals.
- ABM will start collecting deposits from the formed party only after the party is affiliated with the branch, that is, after receiving the party’s approval.
- Disburse loans according to loan policies. Be diligent in using the loan according to the purpose of the loan.
- Be diligent in paying weekly and monthly installments.
- Loan and deposit account forms and registers/sheets and other record keeping.
- The money collected from the party for deposits and loan installments must be deposited with the cashier in the presence of everyone.
- Completing daily ancillary tasks including member admission forms, loan application forms, withdrawal registers, posting of member passbooks, filling out welfare fund documents, filling out daily receivables and receivables information boards.
- Taking necessary motivational initiatives and activities to increase savings.
- Members will be asked to sign a sample passbook, and if a member leaves the party, the passbook must be written as “no payment or no debt owed” and returned to the member.
- Efforts must be made to recover money from absconding members and old loans.
- If the party secretary is unable to write the resolution book, the ABM will have to fulfill that responsibility.
- The homes of all members under the scheme (100% of members) must be visited before admission and loan disbursement.
- 2 days a week (Saturday and Tuesday) will verify 100% of the previous week’s absconding, current defaulters, and illnesses and submit a written report to the BM and give a copy to the RM on a monthly basis.
- He will be responsible for managing the loan team in all branches that have small business and SME loans.
- Take the daily collection slip of LOs and post it on the computer.
- Print the daily information sheet and receipt-payment account from the computer every day (except holidays) and submit it to the branch manager.
- Print all the reports required through the computer software and submit them to the branch manager.
- In the absence of the Branch Manager, the Branch Manager will perform the duties of the Branch Manager.
- If more than one employee is absent from the branch, the branch manager will, upon consultation, assist the absent employee’s team in collecting the money after completing their own team’s collection.
- Perform special duties as directed by the Branch Manager or other senior officers in the interest of the organization.
