Job Description:
• Check the Transport operation database to monitor performance.
• Provide observations and forward them to the direct in-charge for approval in transport operation.
• Compiles and presents transport operation reports for superiors as required.
• Handling day-to-day operations of Transport operations.
• Facilitate the department by preparing required documents regarding transport operation.
• Coordinating with the concerned department for information sharing.
• Resolve, repair and install fiber optics systems, ensuring that they work properly.
• Examine and replace faulty and/or old fiber optic cables.
• Organize scheduled maintenance routines.
• Take care of fiber splicing and rectify fiber optic problem areas.
• Develop sensor indicators and conduct timely inspections, so that a faulty fiber optic system does not destabilize its performance.
• Execute premises cabling and take care of the underground and underwater cabling requirements.
• Keep track of the signal strength of different devices including telephone, and high-speed internet.
• Formulate and maintain system records and system designs.
• Backbone link monitoring and outage restoration.
• Backbone link battery backup test and battery backup installation.
• Backbone links alignment and fault recovery.
• CR implementation and link capacity upgradation.
• Backbone link configuration performance monitoring, and solution for restoration of service.
• Technical Support for local operation and maintenance team.
• Huawei DWDM MUX monitoring.
• Huawei DWDM MUX operation and maintenance.
• ZTE DWDM MUX monitoring.
• VSAT operation and maintenance.
• Database for all TX spare parts.
• WIBAS links operation and maintenance.
• CR implementation for 4G and 3G rollout.
• CR implementation for ISP and other customer.
• spare parts management including PR, PO follow up.
• all ATP recheck confirm and database for all ATP.
• Follow up with the contractor to restore the outage and provide spare parts.
• Follow up with the team to restore ISP customer outage.
• Provide spare parts for contractor and make record and follow up with ERP and inventory team.
Job Requirements:
Essential Requirement: High School Graduate with one year of relevant experience.
Preferred Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or electrical engineering.
