Job Description:
-
- Administer all types of vaccines to target groups including children and women as per the MoPH guidelines during the visit from in OPD or targeted areas/communities.
- Develop the plan for the administration of the vaccines.
- Store, handle, and maintain vaccines as per EPI and other accepted protocols.
- Maintain the cold chain system of the vaccines as per the MoPH and other accepted guidelines.
- Develop monthly reports of the vaccine program.
- Maintain the HMIS tools of MoPH while administrating the vaccines to the targeted age groups.
- Maintain good coordination with local communities and CHWs for finding of absent age groups.
- Should have enough information regarding the adverse effects of the vaccines and the administration of first aid in case of a reaction.
- Monitoring the vaccine indicators and achievements of the Targets overall at the project level, especially Penta-3 and TT+2.
- Outreach based on need with the presence of Mahram.
- To disseminate health education to women about the importance of vaccination while attending mobile health services.
- To participate in training upon request.
- Take care of equipment assigned to the Hospital including Computers, desks, chairs, statoscopes, and ensure their proper usage.
- Respect all rules and regulations of the Hewad Organization.
- Other duties as assigned by the relevant supervisor or HEWAD leadership.
Job Requirements:
1. Graduated from high school or health related program and received vaccination training certificate (EPI Initially training).
2. At least two years work experience in vaccination.
3. Computer knowledge and the English language are advantageous.
4. Excellent communication skills.
