Job Description:

  • The Vocational Training trainer will register the female youth through proper filing system.
  • Responsible for selection of the students based on the carpet weaving skills.
  • The Vocational Training trainer should prepare the training plan and conduct the training based on the approved plan.
  • Maintain discipline and cleanliness in the center and among the participants of the program.
  • Monitor the progress made by the trainees and periodically report to the Filed/Project Coordinators.
  • The Vocational Training trainer will make sure that all beneficiaries are actively participating in the training and practice the training provided.
  • Keep the daily attendance and leave record of the trainees.
  • Maintain the proper inventory of the things handed over to the trainer/centre.
  • Maintain the records of the progress of the students in the provided format.
  • The Vocational Training trainer will report weekly to the Project Coordinator.
  • Works together with the Fashion Designer in developing the prototypes and samples.
  • The Vocational Training trainer in collaboration with the Project Coordinator should prepare marketing training for the beneficiaries.
  • Responsible for the vocational training project’s overall success.
  • The trainer is required to do all official tasks as directed by the Field Coordinator in the field.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma/ certificate in carpet weaving.
  • Minimum two years’ experience in teaching in carpet weaving.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and report back to training center manager and the Program Manager regularly on any matters.
  • Ability to plan, organize and deliver theory and practical sessions.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
  • Ability to understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures relating to vocational instruction and ethical behaviors.
