Additional Requirements

- WASH, DRR, Climate Change, Water Management and project management, budgeting, reporting, monitoring & supervision.
- Team management- Ability to work under limited supervision- Dynamism- Good report writing Ability- Presentation skills, Computer skills, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to write excellent, high quality technical reports, within tight deadlines is essential.
- Extensive experience of working nationally/internationally in humanitarian programmes focusing on WASH, Climate Action and DRR, preferably on UN Humanitarian Response and JRP areas.
- Knowledge and experience in SDGs WASH ladder and JMP indicators.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to setting up monitoring & evaluation systems in large complex programmes.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal and team building skills and ability to manage performance of individual staff members.Ability to work under pressure and to meet and deliver deadline and willingness to travel frequently.
- Proven expertise in English (both written and spoken) is essential.
Responsibilities & Context
- Responsible for overall effective implementation of the project as per project implementation guidelines and organizational commitment with maintaining proper coordination with the donor agency, relevant stakeholders, and the management.
- Produce high quality and timely reports as required and for NGO Forum and UNICEF (within agreed reporting schedules as required) and also ensure documentation of lessons learnt, good practice and case studies to contribute to broader sector learning.
- Ensure that capacity building plans and performance management systems are in place to develop the requisite competencies in project staff to ensure ongoing sustainability and quality of response.
- Led the Teknaf WASH sector coordination and contributed to broader sectoral strategies through playing an advocacy role, influence and leadership.
- Comply with NGO Forum’s policies and practice with respect to child safeguarding, code of conduct, health and safety, equal opportunities and other relevant policies and procedures.
- Attending relevant meeting & events with different donors and any other relevant external platforms & represent NGO Forum for Public Health.
