About OCHR (Organization for Coordination of Humanitarian Relief):
OCHR is a nonprofit, nongovernmental organization implementing relief, stabilization, and development programs across Afghanistan. OCHR’s primary advocacy and existence is based on reducing the suffering of Afghanistan’s most vulnerable groups and providing the tools and resources needed to increase their self-sufficiency, focusing on addressing the needs of communities emerging from conflict or natural disaster. OCHR collaborates with a wide range of partners and donors, local organizations, and many others to deliver sustainable services aligned with SDGs and UN triple nexus i.e. to interlink humanitarian, development, and peace.
OCHR program planning and theory of change mainly focus to achieve A-SDGs i.e. its institutional setup and policy documents is founded to recognize and interlink sustainable development and relevant ongoing processes.

Job Description:
He/She will visit communities and will pass the message regarding the importance of hygiene and WASH activities. He/she will also be required to conduct training regarding WASH and hygiene activities. He/she will also communicate with the Shuars and targeted communities. he will be reportable to the WASH officer.
- In close collaboration with Project manager design, planning, implementation, and follow-up of hygiene promotion activities in the targeted area.
- Identify local community hygiene promotion volunteers and community health workers.
- Conducting Trainings (for community volunteers, teachers, and health workers) on hygiene promotion and GBV using standard materials developed by MoPH.
- To coordinate and prepare together with community Hygiene volunteers monthly and weekly work plans for hygiene promotion and GBV activities.
- Take part in the selection, designing, pre-testing, developing, dissemination, and evaluation of appropriate IEC hygiene material for effective hygiene promotion in the target area.
- Follow and ensure that gender, protection, local culture, and other important cross-cutting concerns are taken into account in program implementation, and reporting.
- Maintaining all the hard records of hygiene promotion activities at the office level and ensuring soft data is maintained for all hygiene promotion and GBV activities.
- Ensure community mobilization in all field related to project interventions.
- Writing weekly report to line manager, and verbal reports whenever necessary.
- Preparation of session plan and training reports for all sorts of training.
Job Requirements:
- 12 grade or high secondary certificate holders
- Proven experience in community mobilization, monitoring, and reporting
- Good written and oral Pashto language skills
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Previous community-based projects implementation experience.
- Previous experience with national or international organizations.
- Excellent communication, cooperation, and interpersonal skills
- Culture and conflict-sensitive
