About OPHCD:
The Organization for Advancement of Health and Community Development (OPHCD) is a non-governmental, non-political and independent organization established in 2017 and registered with the NGO Department of the Honorable Ministry of Economy under license number 4160 and also with the Ministry of Public Health of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan under license number 762. In addition, the organization is a member of the Afghanistan National Health Cluster, the Afghanistan National Nutrition Cluster and ACBAR. As a non-governmental organization, OPHCD strives for the well-being of people through the promotion of health, education, WASH, protection and human rights, economic stability and sustainable development of the community, with a special focus on women and children, drug users, displaced people and other disadvantaged segments of society.
