OHPM selected by the UNICEF and is responsible to delivering the HER (BPHS & EPHS) in Kapisa, Paktika, Helmand & Herat provinces and implementing other vertical projects in the provinces funded by the UNICEF, UNDP, UNFPA, WHO, WFP, OCHA, according to established and agreed targets (for quality and coverage), and thereby contribute to achieving the goals of the Ministry of Public Health which are to: Reduce maternal and newborn mortality, Reduce under 5 mortality, improve child health and nutrition.

Job Description:

  1. General Responsibilities

He/she is working under close coordination of LLIN Focal Point of the Paktika Province to manage the long lasting insecticide net distribution to the Paktika Province.

  1. Specific Job Responsibilities as Stock keeper:

  • To consider stock management policy and standard during storage of goods in stock room.
  • Physical inventory of stock on monthly bases.
  • Management of stock including update stock card, stock database, stock filing system, labeling.
  • Consider FEFO and FIFO while storing or distributing goods from stock.
  • Prepare request for materials before stock out.
  • Use the required stock forms for receiving and distribution of goods from/to stock (Goods Received Note, Stock Release Order and Delivery Note)
  • Ensuring that all fixed asset of the organization is used in proper way.
  • Conduct physical inventory of the asset on a semiannual bases in HQ.
  • Tag all new purchased assets directly while it is received from purchaser.
  • Office maintenance and management including but not limited to repairing.
  • Preparing monthly action plan.
  • Preparing monthly activities report based on prepared plan.
  • To consider task inventory system in daily bases.
  • Coordination with other departments through transfer of letters and documents to line Ministries.
  • Any other task assigned by supervisor.
  1.  Specific Job Responsibilities as Guard:

  • To ensure office and project property safety and security.
  • To make sure that office building is fully guarded.
  • Do not let the visitor to compound without prior authorization of visiting staff member
  • Ask the visitor for reason and whom they want to visit
  • After confirmation of visiting staff member, search the body of visitor and register her/him in visit log sheet.
  • Escort the visitor to the meeting room or staff member office.
  • Report any suspected sign to logistic officer (security focal point).
  • Report any security issue or problem to logistic officer immediately.
  • Patrol the office compound every one hour during light hours.
  • Patrol the office compound every 30 minutes during dark hours.
  • Monitor the security camera for suspect signs inside and outside the compound.
  • Clean the office yard regularly.
  • To ensure that the office compound is always clean and everything is put in an order.
  • Assist project staff while carrying heavy goods inside the office (if required).
  • If there is damage or risk to the property in project office immediately report it to logistic officer (security focal point).
  • Submit your post to the next shift based on documents (registration log).
  • You are responsible for missing and losing of project property.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree: At least baccalaureate, Diploma degree will be preferred
  • Experience: At least one-year related working experience
  • Priority will be given to local candidates from targeted province

Other skills:

  • Basic knowledge English & fluency of local languages (Pashto & Dari),
  • Good communication and counseling skills,
  • Proactive approach to solving issues.
  • Respect confidentiality of organization
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to create a supportive working relationship with all teams
  • Ability to work under pressure
