MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Promote and actively participate in initiatives and efforts to establish team engagement, inclusion, and cohesion in IRC [team/office]
Foster ongoing learning, honest dialogue, and reflection to strengthen safeguarding and to promote IRC values and adherence to IRC policies.
To prepare and implement plans for health activities, with the mentorship of the health manager, ensure that plans are up to date, understood by staff and monitored daily.
Conduct regular briefing and supervision of Mobile Health Teams (MHT) staff, and IWs assessing technical and qualitative performance, and providing on-the-job training, mentorship and mentoring as the need arises to ensure quality service delivery.
Ensure all required supplies such as drugs and other supplies are available for the use by MHTs and IWs.
Assist in other relevant activities as requested by Health Manager.
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS: (Qualifications, Skills and Abilities):
A. Education:
· University degree in medical field (Medical doctor preferred).
B. Experience:
· Experience of 2 years working in health projects preferred.
· Experience of 2 years capacity building, staff training and mentoring preferred.
C. Skills and Abilities:
· Ability to work collaboratively with communities and other departments within IRC, health facilities and other organizations.
· Strong interpersonal skills.
· Good written and spoken Arabic; ability to communicate in English.
· Skills in reporting, including narrative writing and data analysis.
