Mission and objectives
Established in Benin since 1962, UNDP signed a basic agreement with the Government in 1974. UNDP Benin aims to be a privileged partner of the Government for the operationalization of the 2030 Agenda and its Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to through advisory support services, advocacy and implementation of development policies and strategies focused on accelerated growth and structural transformation for sustainable and equitable development. In line with the UNDP Strategic Plan 2018-2021 and national priorities as reflected in the Government Action Program 2016-2021, the National Development Plan 2018-2025 and the Growth and Sustainable Development Program 2018-2021, the UNDP-Benin Office has adopted a Country Program Document (CPD) for the period 2019-2023. An integral part of the United Nations Cooperation Framework for Sustainable Development 2019-2023, this new program cycle is structured around two major areas of intervention, namely (i) the promotion of inclusive, strong and sustainable economic growth and (ii) the consolidation of democracy, the rule of law and the promotion of good governance.
Context
In Benin, the UNDP supports the Government on the basis of a cooperation framework called CPD (Country Program Document), also called in French Document de Program Pays. The Country Program Document is the tool that makes it possible to operationalize UNDP development actions in the countries. In accordance with the United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework and national priorities, UNDP, in its Country Program, will focus its interventions for the next 2024-2026 cooperation cycle on two pillars, namely: a) resilience, sustainable growth and employment; b) the rule of law, democracy, governance and social cohesion. As a prelude to the official launch of this new cooperation program, the design and production of a certain number of communication supports is planned.

Task description
We are looking for 02 online volunteers who, under the direction of the UNDP communications manager, will help with the graphic design and layout of the following materials: – Two (2) kakemonos posters on the 2 pillars of the Country Programs – A document holder, 435 mm x 415 mm, – A 6-page foldable leaflet, 21 cm asked Online Volunteers to: – Propose a concept, a creative and attractive enough design for presenting the documents listed above for the launch of the new Country Program; -Collect content to use for the layout of communication media; – Search apart from the images which will be images provided by UNDP Benin for other royalty-free images online to properly illustrate the activities. – Create graphic designs and layout of communication media. Execution of this task must follow UNDP branding guidelines, which will be communicated to online volunteers in advance.
Requirements
Required experience
The candidate must have experience in graphics, infographics and good visual communication skills. Mastery of the main graphic design and photo editing software (Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Canvas, Photoshop); Strong knowledge in graphic design for print and digital media; Ability to convert complex and abstract ideas into simple visual concepts; Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask; Able to work in a multicultural environment and be aware of political sensitivities; Familiarity with major social media platforms; Strong organizational skills;
