OVERALL OBJECTIVE
Establish a community radio to help reach out to the local community at grassroot levels in order to achieve sensitization goals and sustainability of projects.

3.provision of training and life -long education aimed at economic self reliance
4.Empowering the community member groups with ideas, knowledge, information that helps them make informed decisions in income generating activities through workshops e.g agricultural business.
5.Reaching out to the needy in the community and help link with the resources.

Context
The assignment will help achieve both the goals of community sensitization and income generating activities for project sustainability.

Task description
We wish to start a community radio station to cover several counties that we run projects in and beyond in the local communities at grassroot levels. The Purpose of the community radio station is to run is to run various community sensitization and education programs as well as source of income for the radio and other project sustainability.
Role of volunteers
Help write a paper on how to establish a radio station including Research on all equipment’s requirements and list requirements, research on possible sources of the requirements and possible budget the paper (proposal report) shall have all it takes to start and run a radio station.
Daily logistics
Virtual meetings, calls and mainly email communication. End week status meetings is KEY to entire team.
Our role:
Provide necessary information needed by volunteers to progress.
