Scope of Work
The Travel Service Company Relationship Analyst will be responsible for ensuring that all participants have suitable accommodation and travel service companies, as well as supporting meeting logistics regarding information and services from travel service companies. travel involved. The Relationship Analyst with travel service companies will work in close coordination with the Logistics and Transport Analyst, to whom he/she will be subordinate. To achieve the objectives, the following indicative activities are planned, among others.
- Identify travel services companies that can provide essential services such as accommodation, transportation, tour guides, translation services, among others, and establish strategic partnerships with these companies to ensure that the logistical needs of delegations and participants are met effectively.
- Ensure interface with travel service companies as well as monitor compliance with contract clauses in compliance with defined terms and conditions, and prices, according to the needs of the event and the available budget.
- Ensure that contracts include contingency clauses to deal with possible unforeseen events.
- Oversee the provision of travel services, ensuring they are delivered as per
- agreed to us contracts.
- Manage, in conjunction with other managers, transportation of delegations, hotel reservations, excursions and any other activities related to travel services.
- Maintain constant communication with travel service companies, answering questions and providing guidance, and evaluate travel service companies’ performance based on established quality and safety standards.
- Resolve any problems or challenges that arise during the event and take immediate measures to minimize negative impacts.
Institutional Arrangement
The Relationship Analyst with travel service companies will be part of the team of the aforementioned Logistics Coordination Center allocated at the MRE and will be subject to the direct supervision of the Senior General Analyst of this MRE Center and the coordination of the UNDP project. This is a position financed by project(s), with an initial duration of one year, with the possibility of renewal during the validity of the initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications of the Successful NPSA
Min. Education requirements
- Advanced university degree (Master’s or equivalent) in Tourism, Administration, Marketing or related field is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Administration, Marketing or other related fields in combination with 2 additional years of experience will be given due consideration in lieu of master’s degree.
Min. years of relevant Work experience
- Up to 2 years (with a Master’s degree) or minimum of 2 years (with a bachelor’s degree) of experience with travel services companies.
Required skills
Experience in international events.
Desired skills, in addition to the competencies covered in the Competencies section
• Experience in the Brazilian travel services market.
• Experience in managing travel service contracts.
• Experience in large events (from 500 participants).
Required Language(s) (at working level)
