Scope of Work
The Artificial Intelligence Associate will be responsible, under the supervision of the Project Manager, for providing specialized technical support to topics related to data consolidation and artificial intelligence that are part of the solutions provided for in Axis 1 of the Program. The selected professional will work in close coordination with the focal points at CNJ and UNDP, assisting in technical support for project implementation and monitoring expected deliveries. To achieve this objective, the following indicative activities are planned:
• Assist in the survey of technical and product development aspects to implement the deliverables foreseen in the project, offer support for the registration and monitoring of the actions planned within the scope of the project, based on the definition of the goals and priority deliverables established, as well as the management strategies and monitoring tools defined by the CNJ and UNDP;
• Support in the development of structured and unstructured data pipelines; machine learning models, notably Natural Language Processing, including Large Language Models (LLMs), as well as offering support in monitoring the planning and implementation of project actions, contributing to meeting the schedule and ensuring the quality of deliveries to be carried out;
• Assist with the technical aspects of implementing project initiatives, organizing external and internal solution strategies for demands, in conjunction with a designated supervisor;
• Support for the development of technical and structuring solutions, which will support the application of technologies to be developed within the scope of the project;
• Assist in proposing new technologies and solutions that contribute to increasing the degree of automation of the electronic judicial process, as well as assisting in implementation activities, qualitative monitoring of execution and technical support and solutions developed;
• Apply knowledge, information and best practices in accordance with the methodologies established by the CNJ and the UNDP;
• Perform other tasks, as required by the assigned supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications of the Successful NPSA
Min. Education
Requirements
- High School Diploma required;
- A university degree, preferably in the areas of Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or related areas will be given due consideration, but is not a requirement.
Min. years of relevant work experience
Minimum of 7 years (in case of completed high school) or 4 years (in case of university bachelor’s degree) of professional or academic experience in the area of developing artificial intelligence solutions.
Required skills
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in developing artificial intelligence solutions, including knowledge of machine learning algorithms; or in Data Science processes;
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in developing tools for extracting and consolidating databases; including Python language development experience
- by/your SQL.
- Knowledge of solutions using Natural Language Processing (NLP);
Desired skills in addition to the competencies covered in the Competencies section
- Experience in Extraction-Transformation-Load (ETL) processes;
- Postgraduate degree in Artificial Intelligence or Natural Language Processing or related areas;
- Experience in databases;
- Experience in architecting solutions and orchestration agents;
- Experience in cloud services, containers and microservices;
- Experience in one or more Artificial Intelligence tools, frameworks and/or languages, especially Pandas, Scikit-Learn, Keras and Tensorflow;
- Knowledge of Natural Language Processing – PLN (particularly BERT, Spacy and Gensim);
- Previous experience in developing solutions for the Judiciary will be considered an advantage.
Required Language(s)
- Fluency in Portuguese.
