JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Objective
A rewarding opportunity to join our team at NRC Honduras. We are looking for a person who can support the operational tasks of the ICLA program on a daily basis, guaranteeing that all processes are carried out in accordance with the procedures implemented in the NRC.
2. Main Responsibilities
- Manage budget execution requests for the ICLA program in Tegucigalpa and San Pedro Sula, keep track of them so that they are carried out in a timely manner.
- Support the application of internal control in the office, in accordance with the NRC Policies and manuals, such as: Financial Manual, Anti-Corruption Policy, Internal Control Manual, Cash Manual, donor procedures, among others.
- Know the financial budget monitoring tools that the NRC has implemented at the global and local level.
- Support in the safeguarding of accounting information with due security measures.
- Support with the accounting closing of the program and support in the preparation of financial reports.
- Support in the validation of requests and payment processes for their correct issuance.
- Advance payment management and review program legalizations.
- Guarantee logistical and operational support in the activities required by the program.
- Responsible for the resources assigned to you under your charge.
- The others assigned by the supervisor in compliance with the objective of the position.
3. Professional Competencies

General professional skills:
- Previous internship or university practice experience in similar positions, preferably in the humanitarian field.
- Previous experience working in complex and volatile contexts.
- Documented results related to the responsibilities of the position.
Specific skills, knowledge and experience of the context:
- Professional in economic sciences (business administration, accounting or related careers).
- Minimum experience of 1 year in same charges.
- Knowledge of the operational and security context where NRC operates.
- Professional experience in logistics and purchasing processes will be valued.
- Knowledge and experience in managing the Office package and databases.
- Excellent oral and written expression skills.
- Excellent written and spoken Spanish is essential, English will be valued.
- Demonstrated skills in managing information and preparing reports.
- Excellent interpersonal relationships, positive attitude and ability to resolve complex situations.
