SC3 IT Assistant

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Compile, organize and keep up to date the area’s files, information contained in inventories, databases and websites;
2. Respond to basic queries and provide operational support to staff on technology and operating systems;
3. Support in the organization of the WFP file server;
4. Provide and collect information on web content, software and operating systems for WFP staff;
5. Support in the maintenance of basic tasks of systems and equipment to ensure efficient operation and easy use;
6. Provide support and help desk in Microsoft Office 365;
7. Provide support in administration, network infrastructure (servers and switches) and hardware;
8. Keep a record of customer service;
9. Support in the preparation of reports using standardized models;
10. It will incorporate the organization’s guidelines regarding gender equality and the mainstreaming of protection in all its activities and projects;
11. Other related tasks/activities assigned by the Representative.

RATINGS

• Technical or university studies in Systems Engineering, Technology, Telecommunications or Electronics are desirable;
• Knowledge of English (spoken and written) at a basic level;
• Management of computer programs;
• Intermediate knowledge of SAP;
• Network knowledge;

EXPERIENCE

• Have a minimum of two years’ experience as an Assistant in computer or information technology areas;
• It is desirable to have experience in the United Nations System, international organizations and/or associations or embassies;

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

World Food Program (WFP) Service Contract (SC) until December 31, 2024.
