Duties and responsibilities
The Analyst Architect will be responsible for supporting the (MRE) in planning the G20 meetings. He will work in close coordination with the MRE and UNDP team. To achieve the objectives, the following indicative activities are planned, among others.
• Plan and design the physical space for official meetings upon request from the MRE, including better use of the location chosen to accommodate the event;
• Choose and specify possible materials to be used, such as furniture, lighting, sound, decoration and other elements that will make up the event;
• Coordinate and supervise the assembly and disassembly of the event, to ensure that everything is in accordance with the project and applicable technical standards;
• Provide advice and technical assistance to the MRE on possible suppliers in order to solve problems and resolve any doubts.
• Dialogue with the architects of the event companies hired for the meetings
• The incumbent performs other functions within his functional profile that he considers necessary for the proper functioning of the project.
Institutional Arrangement
The Analyst Architect will be part of the team of the aforementioned Logistics Coordination Center allocated to the MRE and will be subject to the direct supervision of the General Coordinator of this MRE Center and the coordination of the UNDP project.

Required skills and experience
Minimum Education Requirements:
• Advanced university degree (Masters or equivalent) in Architecture is required; or
• Graduate Diploma (Bachelor’s) in Architecture in combination with 2 additional years of experience will be given due consideration in lieu of Master’s degree.
Minimum years of relevant professional experience:
• Up to 2 years (with a Master’s degree) or minimum 2 years (with a bachelor’s degree) of experience in architectural services for events.
Required skills:
• Experience in advising and defining furniture and scenarios for events.
Desired skills, in addition to the skills covered in the Skills section:
• Experience in architectural consultancy for international events;
• Experience in advising and architectural design of large projects and events (over 500 participants)
• Experience in official events with the presence of national or foreign authorities.
Required languages:
• Fluency in Portuguese and English.
Desirable Professional Certificates
• Regular registration with the Architecture and Urban Planning Council (CAU).
