The Communication Assistant will be responsible, under the supervision of the Knowledge Management Technical Analyst and the Project Coordination, for supporting the development and implementation of the Program’s general communication and advocacy strategy, in addition to working on the production of multiplatform content and support monitoring and analysis of the effectiveness of actions, helping to meet schedules and maintain the quality of deliveries made. In your daily life, you will carry out the following activities, which must be aligned, as appropriate, with the CNJ Communications Office:
- Support the mapping of demands and opportunities for communication and advocacy, with a focus on achieving the results expected in the project, as well as supporting the development of a plan and detailed schedule of actions;
- Support relations with the press and support the prospective monitoring of media content to strengthen the narrative and positioning of the project, as well as support the semi-annual monitoring of results from the implementation of the plan, proposing adjustments, if necessary;
- Assist in the creation of content to disseminate project initiatives, focusing on different communication channels (news for websites, press releases, material for social networks, e-mail marketing, among others),
- Support in the development of information management and internal and external communication products, such as newsletters and clipping, as well as assist in monitoring project activities and demands, identifying important information for dissemination to partners, press, colleagues, among others;
- Support the optimization of the flow of communication carried out between project teams, as well as support the systematization of results and good practices developed within the scope of the project, in conjunction with the Program coordination, in a format accessible to the general public;
- The incumbent performs other functions within his functional profile that he considers necessary for the proper functioning of the project.

Required skills and experience
Minimum education requirements:
- High School Diploma required;
- A university degree, preferably in the areas of Social Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, Social Sciences or related areas will be given due consideration, but is not a requirement.
Minimum years of relevant professional experience:
Minimum of 4 years (in case of completed high school) or 1 year (in case of university bachelor’s degree) of professional experience in advocacy, knowledge management, and/or communication activities.
Required skills:
- Oral and written communication skills;
- Ability to use information technology;
Desired skills, in addition to the skills covered in the Skills section:
• Experience working with partners in the public sector, especially the Justice System;
• Experience in managing and producing content on social media
• Experience in liaising with the press
• Knowledge in monitoring the press and social media;
• Knowledge of management tools, such as Trello, Planner, etc.;
Required languages:
- Fluency in Portuguese.
- Intermediate knowledge of English will be considered an advantage.
